Last night was our "Big Event" and was it a big event!! Our host threw us a Thank You party that was much more than any of us expected. There were well over 100 people in attendance which included the Consulate General for the US, Canada, and Australia. There were also members of the Parliament, the highest ranking officer for the Greek military, TV crews from every news station, and THE BISHOP, and so many other people.
Our Consulate said some amazing things to us and made us feel very proud of the work we are doing. Each person who spoke reminded us of the importance of the work we are doing here and committed their support to carry on the change we have started. We were all very honored to be recognized for the work we do everyday back home.

- Project Greece 2007
- Project Greece is a volunteer project started in 2004. This project involves a group of special education volunteers traveling to Greece to work with children and young adults in a Greek orphanage.
